History of RAF 1918 to 2025


A couple of months ago Bryn Goodwin ( a friend of Ian Davis during his Coltishall Lightning AI23 days) set out to update himself on the history of the RAF but quickly discovered that not one site gave anything like sufficient information. As a result, and after many hours of research, he put together what is a unique, easy to read, concise/comprehensive history of all aspects of the RAF’s history – 1918 to 2025. He has backed up all the information with various links that that can be used to explore all historical data in his report in greater depth if necessary. On leaving the RAF Bryn played an important part in the English Electric Lightning's life in Saudia Arabia. He lived there and represented Ferranti.
